However, current Mandarin instruction in vocational undergraduate programs still faces significant challenges in enhancing students’ oral expression abilities. This paper analyzes the importance of cultivating oral communication skills among vocational undergraduates, examines existing issues in teaching practices, and proposes targeted improvement strategies.
