Taking the core mechanical engineering course Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics as a case study, the limitations of traditional paper-based textbooks are systematically analyzed&amp;nbsp;in the present study. To address these challenges, a comprehensive construction framework is correspondingly&amp;nbsp;proposed, which includes knowledge system reconstruction, multimodal visualization, integration of virtual simulations, personalized learning support based on learning analytics, embedding of engineering cases, and data-driven continuous optimization.&amp;nbsp; The proposed approach will improve visualization, interactivity, and instructional effectiveness in mechanical engineering education, and offer a replicable reference for the digital transformation of textbooks in related engineering disciplines.
<keywords>Digital textbooks,Mechanical engineering education,Artificial Intelligent,Education digitalization</keywords></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>[1] Chen HL, Liu Y, Kong FG, et al., 2025, Advancing Smart Education: Role Analysis of Digital Textbooks and Exploration of Classroom Construction Pathways.&amp;nbsp;Creative Education, 16: 2130-2139.
