As a core component of general education in Chinese higher education, College English plays a dual role: it serves as a primary vehicle for language acquisition and as a critical platform for cultivating students&amp;rsquo; international perspectives, cultural inclusiveness, and intercultural communication skills. However, traditional College English curricula have predominantly emphasized linguistic knowledge and test preparation, while neglecting the systematic development of cultural literacy and global awareness.
