The China of the new era is undergoing unprecedented profound transformations and developments. While the economy and society continue to advance and technology progresses steadily, it requires robust cultural strength to unite the people and guide their direction. This paper takes cultural confidence as its starting point, elucidates its essence and its value for ideological and political education in higher education institutions, and analyzes the practical challenges currently faced by such education.
