This study systematically analyzes the current situation and existing challenges in Student Evaluation of Teaching practices at Qilu University of Technology. In response, an optimized evaluation framework is proposed, featuring outcome-oriented indicators, multi-stakeholder participation, process-based assessment, effective feedback mechanisms, and the cultivation of an evaluative culture. This framework aims to strengthen the alignment of SET with OBE principles and engineering education accreditation standards, providing practical support for enhancing teaching quality and promoting the cultivation of application-oriented talents.OBE, engineering education accreditation, student evaluation of teaching, application-oriented talent cultivation
