The family environment is a complex system composed of multiple dimensions, including material conditions, activity practices, atmosphere immersion, and parental qualities, which collectively influence the four core aesthetic abilities of young children&amp;mdash;perception, imagination, judgment, and creativity&amp;mdash;laying the foundation for the formation of their aesthetic literacy. This study employs a case analysis method to explore the compositional characteristics of the family environment for children aged 3&amp;ndash;6, the differences in the impact of various family environment types on their aesthetic abilities, and the pathways for optimizing the family environment. The analysis results indicate that: (1) There is a positive correlation between the development level of aesthetic abilities in children aged 3-6 and the degree of immersion in the family environment. Abundant family art material resources and frequent parent-child art activities can significantly enhance children&amp;rsquo;s aesthetic abilities; (2) The creation of a family art atmosphere integrated into daily life positively promotes the long-term development of children&amp;rsquo;s aesthetic abilities.
<keywords>Family environment, Young children, Aesthetic ability</keywords></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>[1] Bian X, 2009, Scaffolding Strategies for Promoting the Development of Children&amp;rsquo;s Aesthetic Abilities.&amp;nbsp;Studies in Preschool Education, 2009(11): 57&amp;ndash;59.[2] Du W, 2014, On Aesthetic Literacy and Its Cultivation.&amp;nbsp;Educational Research, 35(11): 24&amp;ndash;31.[3] Xie DF, Xie ZM, 2025, The Challenges and Optimization Paths of Family Aesthetic Education in the New Era from the Perspective of Collaborative Education.&amp;nbsp;Journal of Chaohu University, 27(5): 96&amp;ndash;102.[4] Yang SC, 2025, Family Education Approaches for Cultivating Adolescents&amp;rsquo; Aesthetic Abilities in the Era of Short Videos.&amp;nbsp;Hunan Education (Edition A), 2025(11): 64&amp;ndash;65.[5] Zhang HX, 2018, Picture Book Reading and the Development of Preschool Children&amp;rsquo;s Aesthetic Psychology.&amp;nbsp;Studies in Preschool Education, 2018(5): 64&amp;ndash;66.[6] Zhang QM, 2008, Research on Children&amp;rsquo;s Aesthetic Education, thesis, Shandong Normal University.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref></ref-list></back></article>
