Key findings reveal: (1) University type shows no significant impact on misconduct behavior, indicating uneven governance implementation; (2) &amp;ldquo;Double First-Class&amp;rdquo; universities misconduct is predominantly influenced by personal traits and faculty conduct; (3) Non &amp;ldquo;Double First-Class&amp;rdquo; institutions misconduct correlates with academic integrity awareness, institutional frameworks, and scholarly culture.
