The control group received traditional lecture-based learning (LBL), while the observation group was taught with PBL combined with LBL, and both groups underwent an 18‑month training period. Results:&amp;nbsp; The scores of theoretical examination, practical skill assessment, and teaching satisfaction in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P &amp;lt; 0.05). Conclusion:&amp;nbsp; The PBL teaching method can effectively enhance the theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, and overall competence of trainees in geriatric cardiovascular medicine, and thus deserves wider application.
<keywords>PBL teaching method,Geriatric cardiovascular medicine,Resident standardized training,Clinical skills,Teaching effect</keywords></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>[1] Chang F, Zhang W, Li H, 2026, Application of PBL Teaching Method in Clinical Teaching of Geriatric Cardiovascular Medicine.
